Rafa Benitez will be gearing up for the big game this evening as Liverpool hope to hold of Inter Milan and make it through to the Champions League quarter finals.
However, this hasn’t stopped him considering some more attacking talent to spend money on in the summer. This may be all the more relevant as Dirk Kuyt continues his “Thierry Henry in reverse” metamorphosis.
The Anfield outfit is looking to bring in Real Mallorca pair Juan Arango a long time favourite of Rafa’s, apparently and a hat-trick hero at the weekend, and Argentine forward Oscar Trejo, whose combined valuation is believed to be around £10m (AS)
The more the merrier. No doubt Benitez will look to spend oodles of cash in the season break, but his ability to do so may depend on who exactly is holding the purse strings by then.
