How much! Whilst there is no doubt that Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano has had a great season, averaging something like a goal a game in La Liga right now, the £40m that their chairman wants for the Brazilian international is a little hopeful! Tottenham’s boss obviously has first hand knowledge of Luis, but is apparently not keen on the ludicrous valuation, however apparently it’s not too rich for Sir Alex’s Man United.
The £40m price tag that Sevilla have put on their Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano will not put off Manchester United (News of the World)
Can someone explain to me why Ferguson, or indeed Juande Ramos, would need to invest in another striker, especially at that price? Spurs have managed an amazing 88 goals so far this season and none of their strikers are exactly over the hill. Man United have managed 84 goals, and their goal machines are hardly passed it! I very much doubt Fabiano will be lining up for either side any time soon, more likely he will become a Middlesbrough player in about four years
