So Tottenham, far from struggling in their lame duck end of the season, have been rattling off some good results against some pretty strong opposition. Hot on the heels of their 4-4 “thrilla” with Chelsea they took on Portsmouth at the Lane at did a number on them, winning 2-0, courtesy of late goals from Bent and O’Hara.
Tottenham appear to be revelling in the idea that altough there is nothing left for them to play with, they can still mess with other clubs ambitions, today applying a not inconsiderable dent to Portsmouth’s European dreams.
