Everyone’s favourite Geordie Toonsters Newcastle United are set to splurge in the summer and the person at the top of their transfer lust list is none other than former Arsenal striker Jose Antonio Reyes.
The Evening Chronicle reckons that Newcastle will snap up the still rather young (24) year old winger-striker thingy? But is this going to be another Luque shaped disaster? Reyes was addled with homesickness ‘issues’ at Arsenal and things didn’t really work out on the pitch either – what makes anyone think that by moving to a worse team, farther away from home is going to make him any better?
