Many have suggested that one of Spurs main shortcomings, as well as not having a keeper with two hands, is the lack of creativity in the midfield. Newcastle United are bracing themselves for a £10m bid from Tottenham for midfielder Charles N’Zogbia. (Evening Chronicle)
I am a fan of the Frenchman, he may be more than a little one footed and a little inconsistent but the talent is clearly there. Kevin Keegan has consigned the 21 year old to the bench over recent weeks and it may be a better option for him to move down south. I think that given Newcastle’s rather poor form following Keegan’s return Charles may feel that a move to White Hart Lane would be more beneficial to his career at club and indeed national level.
