Having proved some doubters that he was worth at least some of the money paid for his services Darren Bent still looks likely to leave the club, this has led to a number of clubs forming a queue for the rejuvenated England international. Bent himself is happy about his continued form.
Darren Bent netted his eighth goal for Spurs in the 4-1 defeat by Newcastle and said: “I’d be happy with double figures, considering I have missed a lot of games through injury.” (Various)
Kevin Keegan may feel the need to freshen his strike force, Man City are in desperate need for a proven finisher and West Ham could do with some extra firepower for sure. The plus side for Juande Ramos is the fact that his end of season form could help add a few more million to his valuation, although clearly recouping the full 16+m is unlikely I would imagine a double figure bid looks more reasonable a prospect than it did a few months back.
