Spurs sulking £10m star to leave, really? i think not
April 7, 2008
Jermaine Jenas has sulked recently, but I thought that this sulking had come to an end, back in the first team for the Blackburn match after missing the previous two games it seems that the England man had resolved his issues and was back in the Spurs fold. Now some tabloid has come up with a non-story to get the rumours stirring again.
Jermaine Jenas has apparently put his north London home on the market and told estate agents he is not looking to stay in the capital. (The People)
I’ve heard these types of rumours before, they usually lead to nothing. Really can’t see where he would go if not to another London team, not likely to go back to Newcastle or anyone else with hopes of a top six finish next season. Put this rumour in the ‘dubious’ pile I think.

Got something to say?

Spot on, you took the words out of my mouth, i am glad to see someone approaching the typical rumours (the ones that don’t even have a leg to stand on) with the disdain they deserve, good on you
AHHHH You guys start a lot of them!!! Jenas has been injured before the Blackburn game ffs!! Get your facts right. Jenas wont be sold too. You’re right about it being paper rubbish. About the most accurate thing CaughtOffside has said in a long time.
To Ruzzian, to be fair all of the rumours are not started by this site, in fact i like that fact that every rumour on here, or indeed most of the pieces in general are actually cited as coming from other sites/tabloids/bbc/Sky etc… and i think that helps separate the fact from fiction. Unlike other sites i know that just post crap at least here it says where the story comes from and then gives an opinion and lets us fans discuss the merits of each piece. Good on Caught Offside, there are some right crap websites out there, and i think we all know who they are, and i think this is one of the better ones actually.
Tribal is a wonderful site
It’s from ‘The People’!!!! They wouldn’t know anything about the truth if it came up and slapped them on the forehead…
INJURED OR NOT THE GUY IS TOTAL RUBBISH AND IF WE ARE OFFERED A SILLY PRICE GRAB IT , HE IS STOPPING SPURS OR IF YOU LIKE HINDERING SPURS FROM GETTING TO A BETTER POSITION IN THE PREMIERSHIP ALL ATTACKS BREAK DOWN WHEN HE OR M`BRA OR LENNON OR ZOKORA ARE INVOLVED , THERE ARE FAR TO MANY PLONKERS AT THE LANE A BOOT SALE WOULD BE APROPERATE FOR SOME OF THESE DIVA`S . GET QUALITY AND IF IT CAN BE DONE WORLD CLASS PLAYERS . BERBATOV IS AT IT AGAIN INVITING THE MILAN CLUB`S TO MAKE A BID , NOW WHAT SORT OF GUY IS HE OTHER THAN A MERCENRY
JD- lay off Jenas, he is our biggest threat going forward after Berby and Keane, I am not a fan of Zikora, Lennon and Steed seem to drift in and out of the games but i firmly believe Jenas is the only player in the midfield four I wouldnt change. I dont see how Huddlestone and OHara are being kept out of the team by a player like Zikora, a denfensive midfielder who is too static for the Championship, let alone the Champions League, which is still out of reach!
id love to see him back at the toon i like this kid alot,he seems to have went off the boil a little bit of late but i have no doubt he will get back on track.so what if he has put his house up for sale he might want a bigger house
Jenas has sold his house so that he can go live in a caravan with his pikey Spammer mate Kieran Die-er
When was he sulking?
I wonder why Zakora gets all the stick from racist fans just ‘cos he is African. ZAKORA is the reason why SPURS are not in a relegation dog fight ‘cos he is the only DESCIPLINED midfielder we have that can tackle and cover the back 4.
Jenas and Huddlestone are good going forward but their defensive game in POOR. We lost to A***nal at WHL ‘cos JOL played Jenas, Malbranque and Huddlestone in the Middfield and they were cut down easily.
It is not surprising that as soon as RAMOS came in, he recognised the value of Zakora and he always played him if he is available. Zakora has played as a central defender, Left Full back and Central midfield. I am HAPPY Ramos is not moved by bigots who only see good in white or English players and discredit foreign or African players. Apart from being a useful and flexible utility player, Zakora is FIT and hardly injured unlike many who do little and get all the praise. Playing as a defensive midfielder in a team too commited to attack is a VERY DIFFICULT task which Zakora does regularly. The full Backs like Chimbonda are over commited to offensive play and leaves SPURS vulnerable.
Next season hopefully will get more balanced players to help Zakora and move the team into the CL.
RAMOS is no fool and will not sell a hard working ZAKORA.
