Kevin Keegan appears to be keen on spending big this summer, that’s if you believe everything you read, and these latest two could be very useful addtions indeed.
Newcastle will take advantage of John Arne Riise’s Anfield contract snub with a £6m bid for the Norwegian.(News of the World)
Kevin Keegan will launch his revolution at Newcastle United in the summer with a £6million offer for Moroccan international Moubarak Boussoufa. (News of the World)
Riise has had a pretty average to poor season but still has a lot to offer and would be a great addition to the St James’ Park squad especially on the attack when the Norwegian can be especially effective. Boussoufa the 23 year old Moroccan goal scoring midfielder looks a decent prospect too but I am sure that Keegan also has defensive signings in mind as this might be a more problematic area to resolve given the clubs recent return to goal-scoring form.
