Arsenal could do with a good keeper, regardless of whether you think Manuel Almunia is good enough for first choice. With Mad Jens leaving, Arsene Wenger needs either a solid replacement or someone who keeps the Spaniard on his toes.
Robert Green has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham this season, and looks to be on his way out at Upton Park in the summer (The Mirror).
I am a big fan of Green, valued I guess in the £8m bracket (when you consider that Craig Gordon went for £9m) and I think Arsene is too. What do Arsenal fans think? Surely Green is a better option than Kirkland? Or is no one needed in the keeping department?
