Spurs teen star on the move: I very much doubt it!
by Mr Comfort on April 28th, 2008Surely this is a joke?
Spurs youngster Adel Taarabt is a target of West Brom (The Sun)
At first I thought this was in relation to possible loan move, but it appears that Tony Mowbray is interested in bringing in the teenager permanently, but surely Adel is out of the Baggies range? Are Spurs fans keen to see more of Adel? He is still yet to get a start under his belt and is a player thought of highly by White Hart Lane supporters, can he make an impact next season?

i think it would be a good idea to send taarabt out on loan so he can learn how to play in a team - he will become a top class player as soon as he learns how to pass the ball and so i definately dont want to see him moving away from the lane on a permanent move COYS

Yes exactly what Adel needs but ONLY as a loan signing..west brom are a team he can not only shine in, but one who will be playing premier league standard football. We can see what he is really made of, get him some decent experience and see how well he performs

the standard of reserves games isnt competitive enough he should go out on loan to the highest plaaced team as possible.

I don`t think he should go on loan, Ramos can gradually introduce him in the first team next season, and with the injuries that we have suffered over this season, it is wiser he stays. He is still young and his passing leaves a lot to be desired, but, with the tutoring of Poyet and Ramos it wont be long before he breaks into the team, and my feeling is we will see more of him next season.
COYS!

Send him out on loan.
EngNor: your reasoning is sound, but it is eaasy enough to insert an ‘instant recall’ clause, ala Leroy Lita at Reading, in case of emergency cover for injuries!
He is not the first youngster at Spurs who the fans have taken to - many of them hover around the 1st team for a couple of years and then gradually sink with little trace.
Is Adel different? The only way to find out is to see him playing regualar first team Premiership football. West Brom would be ideal - Mowbray makes a team that plays as a team, and a footballing side which should suit his skills (as opposed to a ‘hoof-it and see’ side.

Great prospect but irritatingly selfish and cant hit a barn door from 2 yards …. yes he scores a few in the reserves im well aware but as it was pointed out earlier there is a big difference between the two competitions
