26 year old left back Dossena, who has just missed out on a Euro 2008 trip (which could benefit Liverpool greatly as he gets to have a well deserved rest after helping Udinese to another season of UEFA Cup football) is a must admired talent so its no surprise that all and sundry are after the Italian international.
