Chelsea’s John Terry has the memory of a goldfish…
by Dexter on May 29th, 2008It was only last week that Chelsea’s captain was a snotty mess of tears and guilt after slipping and sending the Londoners’ Champions League hopes spiralling down the toilet. However, this week he seems to have forgotten all that missed penalty jazz, claiming after his goal in England’s 2-0 win over the USA that:
“The manager gave me a huge boost when he told me I was going to be captain and, hopefully, I’ve repaid him. I’ve shown that I’m a big man. I take full responsibility for what happened in Moscow but I’m a man for the big games and I’ve shown that.”
Yes John, if the definition of a “man for the big games” is someone who steps up to take the trophy-winning penalty in the biggest club tournament in world football, only to fall over and miss, then you’re a big game player!

I’m not sure that the word “churl” does you people justice. Still, I have no doubt that opinion of a worthless internet no-mark will be devastating to England captain and millionaire John Terry. Perhaps you should ring his agent and arrange a meeting with him. You know… tell him he’s a loser to his face. Be sure and let all 6 of your readers know. I’d imagine the resulting conversation would be reasonably entertaining.

What a bunch of drivel. This is a pathetic piece of blogging. What did you ever achieve in your miserable, tabloid informed cyber world.

I don’t understand why John Terry is being blamed for a penalty miss? You blast him off for a miss but what about for all the numerous blocks, tackles and interceptions that he makes to save Chelsea from losing games.Did you notice his header save in an open goal in the Champions league final during Extra time??If you did, then you should also acknowledge the fact that he saves the day for Chelsea too!
Also,I don’t think how many of you can blame him considering you have never stepped on a football pitch in your life,EVER!! So you cannot speak of him missing a penalty in a game of that magnitude!

People, this guy is a musclehead of the highest order. Ignore anything further written by this lily livered low-life. He actually pulled a thread slagging off Brian McBride when it got a massive response form FFC fans. Sorry, first he pulled all the responses, THEN he pulled the whole thread when the responses came back. No-one wants to know what horse dung is secreted from the organ referred only by association as your brain. Mong.
