Rafa once again eyes up more midfield talent to go with the likes of fellow targets Gareth Barry and David Bentley, this time he has his mind set on a creative talent who would be a good fit at Anfield.
£12m rated Portsmouth midfielder Niko Kranjcar has been a long term target of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger but now it appears that Rafa Benitez is looking to add the Croatian to his Liverpool wish-list (Fansfc)
Although the midfielder has stressed he is happy at Fratton Park he has also pointed out how important it is for him to play in the UEFA Champions League, something he is very unlikely to achieve at Fratton Park.
Liverpool fans may feel that their midfield could do with an injection of more creativity and Niko can provide that flair in abundance, and if both clubs are truly keen on the 23-year-old then it would be interesting to see where the Zagreb born star would go? Do Pompey fans think it will be hard to keep the likes of Kranjcar, Diarra and Muntari at the club? Do Liverpool and Arsenal see the Croat as a good addition to their starting line-ups?
