I guess the main aspect to this story relates to cash and how much each club has to play with. Many are the under impression that Arsenal lack funds, although reports from the club itself suggest otherwise. Either way Benzema is a marked man in more ways than one, should he perform to the best of his abilities in Euro 2008 then that valuation may not seem quite so high, either way it is hard to imagine that Lyon will keep hold of him for much longer.
