Chelsea prepared to launch massive bid for Milan ace: Now THIS is a blockbuster!
by offsidetrap on June 2nd, 2008You have to give Roman Abramovich credit: Even when the chips are down on Chelsea, he still knows how to make club the center of the universe by make audacious dreamland moves at the drop of a hat — and this move (like almost every other) has dreamland written all over it.
Multiple sources are saying that Chelsea could be interested in making a swap deal with AC Milan for Kaká in the hopes of bolstering their already loaded squad.
Speculation surrounding Kaká has once again been whipped up. Didier Drogba and Ricardo Carvallho will be offered in return for the AC Milan player, along with a substantial cash payment. (various)
While this deal sounds like a Stamford Bridge pipe dream, there is one big factor that has to make you ponder if there is some validity to this rumour.
With AC Milan missing out on the final Champions League qualification slot in Seria A, you have to wonder if Kaká is OK sitting on the sidelines watching other clubs play on Europe’s biggest stage, while he has the UEFA Cup staring him straight in the face next season.
Do Chelsea supporters think this deal is just more paper talk? Or do you believe Roman could make this happen if he really wanted to?

This is complete garbage. Kaka isn’t worth Carvalho and Drogba + cash. It isn’t going to happen, Kaka is not needed either.

Lets get a coach before we start making a team or wait a min! does this mean that roman will be the coach for next season!? crap roman is a dreamer, the reason why he will never have won the ccl with chelsea or becomng the big club he wants it tobe is because he wants it tomorrow and does not have the patience and that he cant buy from money too bad roman, i bet jose will win the ccl before the next 2 ccl seasons! and this comes from a chelsea fan, a chelsea fan thats starting to get fed up with his way of running the club!~!

Sounds like mathias is in two minds
First he complains that Abramovich wants things too quickly.
Then he complains that Mourinho will win something before Chelsea.
Sad.
I’d say that Abramovich’s investment in the long term future of the club is greater than any other owner in the world. Just look at the outstanding Academy he’s built. But those like mathias live in their own little world of non-facts. What a pity the internet gives such people a louder voice than they deserve.

Kaka isn’t worth Riccy and Drogba. If this is the deal they want, well sorry, but we don’t want him.

Why do people think Carvalho and Drogba are worth much? Carvalho is 29 and Drogba is 30. They can’t be worth more than 10 million a piece and Chelsea will need to stat thinking of replacements for them sooner or later. I think Carvalho + Drogba + 20 million for Kaka is a possibility.

By the time Chelsea get their management sorted it will most probably be too late to get the players they want anyway. Already look like missing out on Ribery, who in may opinion would suit the Premiership much more than Kaka.
United are alreayd off and running with the buying as they were last season.
The procrastination of getting a new boss will cost them a lot of precious time getting the team ready for next year. I was unsure of Hughes as the new boss but in tandem with Zola and Clarke could be a dynamic trio. Sell Drogba,
and the disinterested ex ax Arsenal striker and get Toni. TRhat would be a great start. Why sack Grant before you have a valid choice to replace him?

Please do it. Drogba is your only attacker worth the name. Carvalho is your most consistent centre-back - and Kaka will get kicked to shit by Stoke and Bolton. Please waste some more of your stolen money, Abramo, you non-football-minded, soviet criminal.

yeah its not like chelsea have a record of sacking managers unfairly is it?……….. lol
