Newcastle after £7m top talent: A player of real quality for Keegan’s revolution!

Kevin Keegan is clearly a fan of star strikers and creative midfielders. The latest linked with a move to St James’ Park was once one of the best players on the planet and he still has something in the tank worth shelling out for.

Newcastle are in the hunt to sign Argentine star Pablo Aimar after his club Real Zaragoza put him up for sale for around £7m. (Daily Mirror)

28-year-old Pablo Aimar has been around for a while and his seven years in La Liga have been as eventful as they have been successful (two titles with Rafa Benitez’s Valencia being the highlight). Do Newcastle fans think that Aimar is the kind of player that can push the club in the right direction?
