Arsenal midfielder not wanted by the ‘Non-Special One’: But Barca are interested!

After being courted for weeks by Inter Milan, it looks like Arsenal midfielder Alexander Hleb is feeling the cold shoulder from non-Special One, Jose Mourinho.

The Guardian reports that Hleb is not currently on Mourinho’s summer wish list, and because of it, the midfielder is being forced to find safety in the arms of another team. From the words coming out of his associates’ mouthes, staying at Arsenal isn’t even an option.

Alexander Hleb is likely to join Barcelona, according to the middle man who seems intent on moving him on from Arsenal this summer, as Jose Mourinho’s arrival at Internazionale has reduced the chances of the Belarussian going to San Siro.

It has been reported in Spain that Txiki Begiristain, the Barcelona technical director, had travelled to see Hleb in Germany last Tuesday when his Belarus side drew 2-2 in a friendly. “A deal is close. He has been a Barcelona target for some months,” claimed one of Hleb’s associates, Vincenzo Morabito. “I’m sorry that we won’t be able to take him to Italy, he liked Inter a lot but obviously Mourinho has gone for some other names.” (Guardian)

The only person that should be ‘sorry’ is the poor club that signs Hleb and ends up getting saddled with his joke of an agent.

So what’s your take Arsenal supporters? Do you even care what Hleb does anymore? Would you rather he just disappear, or are you still willing to take him back?
