Arsenal striker could be on his way to Milan for £32m: Could this deal really get done?

You have to give AC Milan a lot of credit for their determination to sign to world’s best this summer. So far, the Italian club have been linked with everyone from Didier Drogba to Alexander Hleb, and now apparently, they are being linked with Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor – only this time it looks like a deal could actually get done.

The Telegraph is reporting that Milan and Adebayor have come to an agreement that would see the Togolese ace move from the Emirates to the San Siro this summer in one of the biggest moves to date. They only thing that seems to be holding the deal back is a huge roadblock for Milan: the £32m asking price that’s being quoted to Milan by Wenger and Co.

Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor has agreed a deal to join AC Milan, according to reports in Italy.

Adebayor has met with Milan officials over the past few days and has shaken hands on a move to the Italian club, but Arsenal’s potential asking price could rule out a transfer. (Telegraph)

Arsenal supporters know Adebayor was one of the top strikers in the Premiership last season. However, with the kind of money that’s being thrown around, you have to wonder if the London club got even a majority of the asking fee (say £28m), this might be a deal worth making. With all the top targets that Arsenal are eyeing this summer, the funds from Adebayor could help make their transfer dreams come true.

Are Arsenal supporters keen on moving Adebayor to Milan for the right price? Or would you rather Wenger tell AC Milan to get lost and keep their grubby hands away from your prized striker?
