This latest Wenger target may be something of a veteran at 31, but has mountains of experience and is still very much a top-class performer and well worth this bargain valuation.

Frings seems to have been around for an age, currently plying his trade at Werder Bremen, he could well be looking for a new challenge and a shot at the Premier League may be just what the doctor ordered. Something of a multi-purpose player, he covers a lot of ground and is capable of striking vicious long-range efforts, much like a certain Mathieu Flamini. Would Arsenal fans welcome the German to the Emirates, or is he not quite the player he once was?
