Spurs plan £10m United swap: A one-sided deal

It appears that two rumours have handily combined into one nice little package, is this a swap deal that works well for both parties?

Anton Ferdinand could be on his way to Tottenham in a swap deal for Aaron Lennon.
Fresh rumours this morning suggest that Spurs are set to capture long-term target Ferdinand, who Alan Curbishley is thought to be prepared to sell.

However the latest twist suggests that England winger Lennon – who joined Spurs from Leeds three years ago – could be coming from North to East London in exchange.

£10m-rated winger Aaron Lennon has been linked with all and sundry, as many tabloids consider him to not be a player that Juande Ramos values, however the Spaniard has made it clear that the England international is part of his plans. Whilst Spurs do need another centre back, I am not sure this swap deal makes a great deal of sense. Anton Ferdinand would be a useful addition, but would he be a regular first-teamer at White Hart Lane? I don’t think so, therefore this swap deal seems more than a little one-sided. What do Hammers and Spurs fans think?
