It seems that if money was no object Rafa would be signing around £200m worth of talent this summer, this latest potential target just got a whole lot more expensive!
The player in question is of course French international Franck Ribery. Ribery was a key player in Bayern Munich’s great Bundesliga season and today that the player will be available for a price of around £ 31 million.
Ribery could be the ideal replacement for Frank Lampard at Chelsea, with the same appetite for goals from a offensive midfield position. But if Man Utd decides to sell Ronaldo, they might become interested in Ribery as well.
Man City is eager to land new players and could also join the race.
Arsenal was strongly linked with Ribery last season and the fact the Arsene Wenger is in charge there is an advantage. (Soccervoice)

Now Liverpool fans could argue all day about which out of Gareth Barry, David Villa or indeed Franck Ribery would be most useful to the club, I guess the question is “just how much does the Spaniard have to spend?”. If money really was no object, which of the three mentioned would be the most worthy of signing?
