It’s achingly close to completion but it appears Gunners fans can’t rest easy as the second, maybe of many, major transfers this summer at the Emirates is almost ready to sign on the dotted line
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is expected to tie up a £13million deal for long-time target Samir Nasri, the Marseille midfielder, after Euro 2008. (PA Sport)
Samir Nasri hasn’t seen much action at the Euro’s, a dozen or so minutes against Romania and great deal of warming up on the sidelines, maybe he will get his big chance in the crunch match against Italy, after all the 20 year old can hardly do worse than the sorry show displayed by his compatriots. Either way Arsene is about to unveil (fingers crossed) a fantastic new addition to his playing staff and one who will hopefully entertain the Red half of north London for years to come. Do Gunners fans see Nasri as being a signing that can bring top silverware back to their trophy room?
