Arsenal or Spurs? £10m Euro 2008 hero to make tough decision

Having set the Euro’s alight, this star has some thinking to do, but who will he opt for?

Spurs and Manchester City head the list of clubs interested in Lukas Podolski after the Germany striker again hinted he may quit Bayern Munich.
Podolski will consider his future at the Bundesliga champions if he is not in new coach Jurgen Klinsmann’s first-team plans.
He was not in the starting line-up for much of last season and is behind Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni in the pecking order at the Allianz Arena.
His former club Cologne and Juventus are also interested in the 23-year-old. (Daily Mirror)

The German international is being courted by Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, but the Bayern Munich man is concentrating only on the action in Austria & Switzerland.

“The Euros are the only thing that counts for me at the moment,” said Podolski.

“I will start thinking about other things when they are over. If I don’t see the chance of playing for Bayern under Jurgen Klinsmann then I will have to consider my future. I am not a footballer who is prepared to just sit on the bench.” (fansfc.com)

Lukas Podolski seems increasingly likely to leave Bayern Munich just as Jurgen comes in. I guess he feels he has little choice, given the forwards ahead of him. The question is if he does leave, which of the two front-runners would be a better option for him?

Do Arsenal or Spurs fans think they have a better chance of signing the Polish-born German international? Manchester City fans, do you think Lukas may in fact opt for a move to Eastlands?
