Is it me or are there more and more teens gracing the highest level of the game? The question is, who has the best set of talented youngsters?
Arsene Wenger is noted for his ability to spot young talents who inevitably go on to be world-class performers. However, more and more managers are realizing that the most effective way to plan for a bright future is to invest in their youth academies, rather than spending huge sums of money on the latest flash in the pan.
Manchester United proved that you can with things with kids, Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez continues to blood youngsters early and Spurs have a blossoming set of talents such as Adel Taarabt to hopefully call upon in the coming season or two. Everton too have a habit of unearthing youngsters who they desperately try to keep at Goodison Park, names such as James Vaughan and Victor Anichebe spring to mind.
