Brazil superstar ‘rejects Manchester City’
by stresster on June 27th, 2008Could this be a blessing in disguise for Mark Hughes? The ever-trustworthy source that is the Daily Mirror claim that Ronaldinho has decided against a move to Manchester this summer, perhaps he heard that the weather wasn’t so hot (literally).
Apparently, the Brazilian is now keen to stay at Barcelona, despite the Spanish club effectively telling him to sod off a few weeks ago.
The 28-year-old has held talks with Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola and assured him that he is ready to clean up his act and fight for his future at the Nou Camp.
Man City fans - are you pleased or disappointed by this news? It very much seemed like a transfer that Thaksin Shinawatra wanted to make, rather than Mark Hughes, and it might now be the case that the Welshman can concentrate on bringing the right players into the club. His boss is seemingly all about broadening City’s global appeal with high-profile signings, although at what cost to the team?

i think he should be at arsenal to be honest because he would fit in well to the way they play and if he was at man city then he would just be a waste

ever since the start it was all a bit surreal, something i couldnt really comprehend until i saw him in a city shirt
we’ve obviously made our interest known and put our offer in, its up to him now.
he wont sign for anyone until Aug 31st anyway, time for us to focus our efforts elsewhere
