Droggers to bugger off, will any Chelsea fans miss him?
by Dexter on July 3rd, 2008 The Sun’s banshee transfer wail can be heard all over the Scepter’d Isle; apparently Big Phil Scolari has given the green light to “Flog Drog”.
Droggers - to his mates - has often been a mouthy critic of the Chelsea management, and openly wept when Jose Mourinho left, so any move to show the Ivorian the door surely wouldn’t be hard as he’s half way through it already.
PHIL SCOLARI has told Chelsea to sell Didier Drogba.
The new Blues boss wants funds to rebuild the squad and SunSport can reveal he has told owner Roman Abramovich the Ivory Coast hitman can go.
Chelsea want £22million for Drog, with AC Milan desperate to get him after missing out on Emmanuel Adebayor. (The Sun)
With Snoop Droggy Drogg heading towards the exit, big Phil is already getting into a frenzied lather over the prospect of nabbing Samuel Eto’o as a replacement, and if he does bag the Cameroonian, will anyone be pining for Drogba?

As a guy who usually roots against Chelsea I am ecstatic to see that he may be leaving London. He is a FORCE. Who cares about his mood and complaining…if I remember right he wasnt the only Chelsea player whining this year. Every Chelsea supporter hated when Grant replaced the Special One. Not only that but is he not their best player? I can see an argument for Terry. If he leaves it will be even worse than if they keep Lampard. Chelsea is heading in the wrong direction it seems to me. Another new coach and losing their best player.

Totally disagree with the other comments. Undoubtedly one of the worlds best strikers on his day but spends half his time writhing on the ground and shows absolutely no loyalty to the Blues. I certainly wouldn’t miss him.
P.S. Not all chelsea fans were unhappy when the ’special 1′ left. He did what was needed, brought us success but he couldn’t take us on to the next step (winning in style). If Abramovich ploughs that amount of money in then he deserves to enjoy watching his team at least! Just football evolution, no-one’s ever gonna be bigger than the club- not drogs, lamps or the ’special one’.

I will miss him…I will miss his theatrics as well as his goals..Going to be hard to replace a monster up top that is Drogba.

drogba is the reason chelsea play such ugly football…whenever he plays all they do is send in long balls hoping he can connect with one of them…his exit will surely bring in an era of beautiful football at the bridge

Drog is a big diving turd - I’ll be glad to see the backside of him

Eto’d is another prima-donna who needs his butt constantly smooched.
And he is britle as well.
I prefer Drogba (minus the disloyalty, diving and whinging)
