The Liverpool Daily Post today threw its net out into the transfer ocean and brought back some interesting, and some truly rancid transfer rumours. The Daily Post was even nice enough to rate the wannabe rumours out of five – with some tripe about AJ leaving given very short shrift.
Top of the charts, with a whopping 4 out of five stars is the Sunday People’s (!) rumour that Moyesie is set to make a grab for Spurs’ Aaron Lennon:
Everton have apparently joined the race to sign Tottenham winger Aaron Lennon.
The Sunday People claim the Blues will have to fork out around £10m for the star who is reportedly out of favour at Spurs. (Daily Post)
Moyes does like his wingers in theory, but something about Jesper Blomqvist offended him and Andy Van der Meyde was a total flop, will Lennon be any better?
