tabloid licking fools the reason why they will buy capel is cos dos santos will play as a second striker like at seville where they play with two for example thast why this garcia will play behind, we do have bale but its more than likely he is going to play left back as its his preferred position. yes we need a defensive midfielder or a rock solid midfield who can dominate a game like modric will do, i believe we need a player in the veira like mould

Ive not listed a CB as i do want to see the King return to greatness this season and i think along side Woodgate they are world class. Potential cover is needed though as Dawson only appears to play well along side King and if King is fit Dawson wont play ahead of Woodgate!
I would also like to see Taraabt loaned out this season to get some proper regular 1st team action to see if he realises his potential! Perhaps to one of the newly promoted premier sides to make sure he is playing in premier league as thats the level he has to cut it at.

I don’t know why we don’t go for Josip Simunic. I know the guy is 30 but he’s pure quality and would be ideal cover at center back for the King and Woodgate. He wouldn’t cost a lot of money and he could give us a few good years of service. I’m sure it would also benefit Modric to have another Croat around as well.
