Tottenham snap up yet another attacking talent
by Dexter on July 11th, 2008 The Daily Mail is reporting that Spurs have beaten Benfica to the signature of Espanyol striker Luis Garcia. Admittedly, taking what the Daily Mail spews out as gospel truth will get you about as far as believing Jeffrey Archer, but this rumour looks fairly solid…
Juande Ramos has bagged himself a Spanish striker, and no it’s not David Villa. He’s managed to nab Espanyol’s useful 27-year-old Luis Garcia. Spurs made their first move for Garcia at the start of the month and, after lengthy discussions, the 27-year-old is set to complete his £9.5million move next week.
Espanyol claimed today Spurs are still among ‘a group of clubs who are ready to make a concrete bid’, with Portuguese side Benfica thinking they were favourites to sign the Spain international.
But Spurs appear to have stolen a march on their rivals after a meeting with Garcia’s
agents and Espanyol’s lawyer, Vicente Montes, last night. (Daily Mail)
Garcia looks to be a versatile attacker, but does this now pave the way for Robbie Keane to hotfoot it to Anfield?

fairly solid? No sources, Player says it’s the first he’s heard of it and Espanyol director has said he has no contact what so ever. Deffently going to happen then!

So if that means we sign Garcia, we off load Keane? well if thats the case forget it, coz Garcia will not have the passion Keane has for the club Mr Ramos and you can get rid of Berba if anyone, or even Bent but not Keane please.
Being linked with all these spanish players, We will be like wenger (Note he signed another french man again today) and the French Revolution across the road, please NO!!!!!

Where there is smoke there is fire and this player fits the profile that Ramos likes. Not one dimensional and can be moved around to fit the situation.

Garcia will sign, you heard it here first..
A friend of a friend of a fiend of a foe, saw Gaarcia coming out of a London hospiatl this afternoon. He overheard talking on his phone ‘Hola Mumma! I have passed my medical. Bueano! Ciao!.
I’m sure this news will appear on a few other well known blogs in the next few days..

If that was the case, would White Hart Lane not have burnt to the ground during this transfer window?
Show me a picture of him at Spurs, wearing the shirt, and I’ll concede there might be some truth in it.

Get rid of Berba and Keane and bring in Villa and Kanoute…then I’m excited to see goal scoring and passion. Keane could score 40 a year if he learned how to go forward with the ball in the box instead of sideways. Berba’s a lazy pretty boy who only cares about sluts and his own hair.

you can’t possibly mean that yiddoyank!? get rid of keane and berba?? the most lethal partnership in england? You say berba’s a lazy pretty boy. well, do you prefer a lazy pretty boy with a footballing mind of a genius, a touch of silk, and an eye for a goal, or do you want this hunchback Kuyt-type, who problably is the worlds best defensive striker?`Strikers are supposed to score goals. And for once, we have a couple of players who can entertain. haven’t seen it since ginola. I dont want the Santini football back at the lane.
