Whilst it remains unclear why Alonso’s possible move to Juventus ruins a possible swoop for both players, the thought that the Spanish man could be around next season is something that should make Liverpool supporters happy – even if they don’t get Barry and Keane. After fighting with injuries for most of the season, you’d have to believe that the Alonso would be a welcome sight at the club.
