Mourinho won’t take “no” for an answer for Chelsea’s Lampard…
by Dexter on July 18th, 2008 Jose Mourinho has been pretty clear about his desire to take Frank Lampard to Inter Milan, and he won’t let the little matter of a rejected bid - and aggressive declarations emanating from Stamford Bridge that Lampard won’t be budging - deter him from his porcine quarry.
Lampard was teacher’s pet during Mourinho’s time as Chelsea gaffer, and the Portuguese isn’t going to sit back and wait for Frank Jr to come to him, he’s launching an even bigger bid for the England midfielder.
INTER MILAN are ready to make a fresh bid of £11million for Frank Lampard.
SunSport understand Chelsea will receive a new offer for the England midfielder after a meeting between Inter president Massimo Moratti and his directors yesterday recommended an increase on the original £7.95m bid.
Boss Jose Mourinho is determined to get Lampard — and Moratti has vowed not to let his new coach down. (The Sun)
So will The Special One and SpongeFrank FatPants be united at Inter, or will Chelsea snuff out this relationship by playing the role of the jealous ex-boyfriend?

I dont see what the big deal is. There are much better players out there that are easier to come by and have a lot more years at the top left

I think Chelsea should get rid of Lampard and get some cash before he goes on a Bosman at the end of the season. I think he’s past his best and I don’t understand why Inter are willing to pay so much for him.
He has been offered an unbelievable deal by Chelsea and I don’t understand why he just doesn’t want to stay….is there something going on with him and Mourinho? I think if he goes to Italy he will be a big flop and will get even fatter on all the nice pasta they serve him…lol

He can go with our best wishes. Too many playere leave for Europe too late and don’t hit. Larrson Henry and a host of others. Chelsea have more than enough cover in the ball playing midfield roll. Ballack Deco and maybe ever Kaka. Jeez that’s gotta be enough.
