Spurs defender in seismic rejection of Sunderland

Roy Keane’s masterplan is crumbling already, his devilishly clever idea of buying in bulk from Spurs looked to be a good idea. Until Younes Kaboul broke from the pack and declared, via the medium of his agent, that he has far better options than grotty Sunderland…
The 22year old Frenchman issued a sniffy rebuttal through his agent Rudy Raba:
`Younes wouldn’t join Sunderland even if there was an earthquake. We have more interesting options than Sunderland. Don’t even think about it.’ (Daily Mail)
This statement was not only cruel on poor old Sunderland, but pretty nonsensical too. Rudy needs to fill us in on the details of this hypothetical earthquake and why even that wouldn’t cpmpel Kaboul to play for Sunderland. Is Rudy suggesting that Sunderland is such a craptastic town that even if the rest of the world was razed to the ground he wouldn’t go there?

If thats what he is suggesting then how can he say that? He probablies hasn’t been to Sunderland, I believe the reason he is likely to be saying this is so he can get his player a better deal with Pompey so that Kaboul can be on more wages than what he is currently on ,coz he knows that if he asks Roy for high wages (rediculously high) he knows for a fact that he isn’t gonna get anywhere ‘coz he’ll be told to shove his heed where the sun don’t shine!!! He probs doesn’t even know anything about english football, apart from the fact there is a lot of money going round!!!

It is seldom Agents allow themselves to APPEAR MORE MORONIC THAN THEIR CLIENTS but in this case Kaboul has a complete plonker working for him.
In one small phrase he has epitomised every thing the fans find disgusting about the modern game arrogance, obsession with money now and stupidity.
For the first time in his life he had a chance of playing in front of huge crowds who revere talent, coached by one of the most able former footballers in the country. His loss, we don’t want less than 100% commitment.

Interesting comments from Kabouls agent, if not slightly amusing to laugh at both player and agent. It seems a sad trait of modern footballers now that rather than play for good historic “proper football clubs” they would rather just go where the money leads them
As said above this is why the majority of fans dont actually like their players anymore.
If the likes of Kaboul and his agent think clubs like pompey are a better place to both live and play football than Sunderland then they are as stupid as they sound. No disrespect to Pompey but they dont get big gates and never have, in fact i dont think theyve even won much in their history

Quite frankly im delighted that Kaboul (shit) wont be joining us, he was atrocious at times last year when i saw him play, hes not really much better than what weve already got. Additionally have you seen the guys face?!?! beaten to within an inch of his life by the ugly stick i think! if he graced the SOL next year theyd have to put 18 restricted on the tickets.
