Rafa looks for more cash and much like we may check behind the back of the sofa for a spare pound coin, the Liverpool boss is finding players he has no use for and looking good and ready to receive a nice cash bonus for them!
Liverpool misfit Andrei Voronin is to be sold by Rafa Benitez to a German club for around £3m as the Reds look to finance their protracted move for Aston Villa captain Gareth Barry. (Daily Mirror)

I don’t think either player will be sorely missed at Anfield, in fact in Itandje’s case he probably won’t even be missed! Voronin has been okay in the pre-season games but he will be nothing more than injury cover and it’s best for all concerned for him to pursue a move to the Bundesliga. As for Liverpool’s back up keeper well if PSG consider the former Lens man worthy of buying then good luck to them, I still can’t believe the 25 year old ever got capped at international level, I mean he must question that it ever happened himself. Who else do Liverpool fans think that Rafa can afford to cash in on?

you can liken these two players to a can of shop branded baked beans from lidl. They have no quality whatsoever, but they are cheap as chips…i think the sooner they go, the better…liverpool fc are a club known worldwide for their history of success…so it begs the question, why are we bringing into the club this cheap,foreign crap? Instead of wasting our limited resourses on cheap, unknown players, rafa should leave the money in the kitty and use the homegrow talents from the reserves side instead..afterall, they are the future of the club and everyone has gotta start somewhere …

To Bill Ward, you ask where do you get this s**t from, well the source is stated so i guess it comes from there. To be fair at least this guy always quotes sources, which is more than can be said for some sites. Yes the headlines can be a bit over the top but this headline seems fine to me. Against chelsea when we lost 2 - 1 he made outstanding saves, and to only let in 2 against chelsea is good for any goalkeeper, let alone a reserve one.
As for Voro, same really, scored a handful of goals last season, all good ones. Just couldnt break into the first team to be able to blend with the team

voronin was ok at the start of the season, but after that he was utter shite. if he manages to produce the form that he showed at the start, he won’t be a bad squad player to put on against the likes of stoke and hull. As for Itandje he was shocking in all his games, get him out!!!!!!!!
