West Ham man not interested in Turkish baths: Curbs throws a party after hearing the news

West ham boss Alan Curbishley can rest easy. After listening to the rumours about his current skipper moving abroad this summer, the man that wears the band at Upton Park has made it clear that he has no intentions of moving abroad. He’s has no interest in köfte, döner or börek!

WEST Ham skipper Lucas Neill has once again reiterated that he has no plans to leave West Ham.

The Hammers’ Aussie defender, has been heavily linked with moves away from Upton Park this summer, with many suggesting he could link up with his former Blackburn boss at Manchester City.

The 30-year-old has also been recently linked with Turkish side Galatasaray.

But Neill stated: “I’m a West Ham player. That’s the start and finish of it.” (East London and West Essex Guardian)

Well this is a bit of good news. I’m sure West Ham supporters were wondering if Lucas Neill was going to stay or go this summer. To hear it straight from his mouth should make this an open-and-shut issue going forward.

What do West Ham supporters think about the news? Were you certain Neill was going to stay the whole time?
