Jose Mourinho has been sniffing around Frank Lampard for the past couple of weeks, although now seems resigned to missing out on the midfielder this summer, turning to Sulley Muntari instead. However, the Daily Telegraph reveal that he has snapped up a couple of Chelsea’s big names, as the Portuguese manager bids to become successful next season.

The players in question are Ricardo Carvalho and Michael Essien but, before Blues fans start to panic, the good news is that the self-styled Special One has merely been picking his Fantasy Football team. The newspaper make a big deal of this, analysing each of his picks - here is the full line-up.
