Well it appears that Dimitar Berbatov is getting even more of a reputation as a major moaner by refusing to sit on the bench in their recent friendly against Norwich (as reported by former Spurs crunch tackler Graham Roberts). So the question has to be, is it worth keeping the Bulgarian at the club if he can’t respect the club?

I think some people on here are looking at Berba through rose-tinted glasses. No doubt he’s a great player, but you only have to look at his performances in his first season and compare them to last season. The only game were he played his heart out last season was in the final because he could smell the glory. The rest of the season showed the odd flash of his genius, but his heart wasn’t in it. He blames his team-mates when things don’t go his way and doesn’t make nearly enough effort. He missed a lot of chances that he would’ve taken in his first season. I’d like him to stay if he’s was 100% committed to the club, but he isn’t and never will be. But please don’t sell him to United.

Why do certain people, on here and elsewhere, always have to look for the negative in everything ‘Spurswise’? The man is a magician and with an added quality midfield to provide the ammunition and a ’sniper’ like Bent (or a new more potent addition) we are likely to see an even better Bulgar next season (if he stay that is!). IF Bentley and Arshavin are brought into the fold….we may be a little bit too good for the OLD Top 4 to handle….even by our old standards….( dreams but no action….until NOW!)
As of now we are still an unknown quantity but for certain player to be ready to stay and ‘make a go of it’ we must be about to produce something special (I hope)….SORRY…Dreaming dreaming! COYS!
