I don't think he should go without being given the oppertunity to see if the team he has put together at the end of the window can deliver a top 8 place next season. If players stay fit then I think this acheivable we still need a forward of note and the acadamy looks ready to progress some youngsters into first team contention. Why can't the fans get of the managers case. How many supporters would have settled for 10th place last season after missing relegation on the final day of 2006/07?
I certainly would. Give the manager a break!

I can see why he's the favourite, but no one acctually realises how many injuries we had last season and still managed to finish in the top ten.
If we had a fit squad the whole season, we could've maybe finished in the top six.
In my opinion, (tell me if you agree) Gary Megson will be the first to get the sack. He wont be able to handle a full season in the premier league without Anelka or Diouf. Am I right or not?

Although i found last season frustrating on reflection we did exceptionally well the only problem we have is that the media made a big thing of how much money we spent with no mention of the players we sold that season, we were solid at the back and have given ourselves a foundation from whitch to build on, ok the quality of football wasn't great but that was due to the injuries, Tottenham spend millions every season an never do much, Man City are vying for a good finish, chelsea liverpool an manu spend millions just to compete with each other, i think if we finish above the Blackburns an the pompei's we'll have done well, My prediction 6th or 7th an Curbishley will keep his job an keep everyone happy!
