Who is the ONE worst player in Everton?

We here at COS (caughtoffside to the uninitiated) are looking to find the worst player in the Premier League. It’s easy to find the best players, but try to single out the lowest of the low - that one player who really just doesn’t belong and appears to be a member of your squad because he holds some incriminating evidence concerning your club’s boss.

So we need first to find the ONE worst player at each club, then we can find the final 20 and make a poll, to get you all giddy with excitement.
So it’s your job to think about those on your club’s books who simply shouldn’t be paid to play football! Then you need to narrow down that list and find the ONE player who stands out, and we will tally the most votes and that ONE player becomes the player from your team that goes forward to the poll of all polls!
So all you have to do is enter the name of your chosen player and perhaps the reasons why you have selected him. You can have a laugh with your fellow supporters by naming and shaming the worst of the lot and seeing if your selection is generally accepted by your fellow supporters!

Anichebe without a doubt. He begins a game looking like he has played 90 minutes and extra time. Far too lethargic for the premiership.

Jesus, Anichebe saved us several times last year in Europe and has scored a winner i the olympics already. Headless Hibbert is the worst, by far. Honest, but poor.

Last year, Everton lost 15 out of the 30 games where Hibbert started or played the majority the game. Of the 24 Hibbert-free games we only lost 1. Coincidence?

The one I’m tired of, always seems to let the easy ball through on defense, waving his arms like he’s not guilty od screwing up is Yobo. His is the odd man out.. we have two solid center backs, we don’t need him.. we could make a decent profit off him too

This whole sequence was started by a really good question.
Maybe the culprit is whoever wrote vd Meyde’s contract. Can’t someone end his career in training to get rid of him & he can rather collect his insurance? Get Joey Barton on loan while he’s suspended, to do the job.
Whoever correlated Hibbert with lack of team victories must have been looking for the answer they wanted, it’s so bizarre. Can’t someone rather describe his good jobs against say Downing, Lennon or the like?
Just tell him & Neville never to pass forward, least of all in the air.

Tony Hibbert by a long way, he hasn’t progressed as was hoped since leaving the academy like Leon has. VdM doesn’t count since he doesn’t play and I think Anichebe is a great talent and with Vaughny a big hope for the near future. This season is the season I think both are ready to hit the big time. One last point; who would you rather have at right-back? I’d take Phil every time over the clueless Hibbert, and to think a couple of years ago people were touting him for the England team!!!

Hibbo by a mile for me too. How many times has he gone to cross the ball and sliced it in to the stand. He is honest but absolute crap. He can tackle but only because he has to so often beacuse he gets himself exposed.
Phil Neville is rubbish in midfield but still reasonable at right back, and streets ahead of Hibbo.

Funny that Henry Winter of the Telegraph, the best writer in the UK, said on 15 April that England were so short of right backs that they should use Hibbert.
