Roma are interested in Manchester United striker Louis Saha.
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is eager to cash in on the injury-plagued Frenchman and The Times says Roma are monitoring the situation.
Valencia and Sunderland have also been linked with Saha in recent days.(tribalfootball.com)
£9m-rated Saha has been a very unlucky figure since his arrival at Old Trafford. Injuries and, to a lesser extent, poor form have restricted the Frenchman to just 52 Premier League starts in over four-and-a-half years. He has a decent strike rate but is never going to seriously challenge the top marksmaen at the champions. Roma have been following the situation closely and look likely to put a bid in, especially if Ferguson gets hold of Berbatov. Maybe a move to Sunderland would be a better bet for the former Fulham man as he may just find himself bench warming in the Eternal City, whereas Roy Keane is beginning to put together a useful squad at the Stadium of Light and a move to the north-east could resurrect the 30-year-old’s career. Do Manchester United fans think that they ever saw the best of the Saha?

i’d send him gift wrapped to sunderland or anyone who would pay 9m for sicknote sahaha.
If the berbatov saga ends up on a fruitful note for united and manucho gets his work permit then the promising campbell can have another season at hull and get a good season in the premier league too.
If berbatov doesn’t happen then i still think manucho and campbell would be good enough cover and if we strugle with injuries fergie would be likely to pull off a masterstroke and loan someone like larsson in january.

It is too bad as he performed well when he was healthy, one of the main reasons man utd won the premier league in 2006-07. I wish him only the best.

i would be sure to sell him to roma, outside of the premiership, last thing united needs is to give a smaller club like sunderland the opportunity to beat manure at home. Or send him to tottenham, heard they’re missing a striker

I feel for Saha. His injuries never gave him the chance to prove himself. For sure he’s a clever and classy footballer. In the few games he played he showed us time and again what he could do especially as soon as Van the man left to Mudrid. If he does leave I would rather see him go abroad and I wish him all the best of luck for the future. Merci Louis.
