Hull City boss Phil Brown wants to sign Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell in a permanent deal. The Daily Mail says Brown will move with a £5million offer for Campbell when Manchester United finally land Dimitar Berbatov.
The England Under-21 striker was a huge hit at the KC Stadium during a loan spell last season, however Sir Alex Ferguson has so far blocked any move because of his lack of genuine strikers in his squad.
Brown ideally wants two new forwards and sees Campbell’s pace as a key asset that could keep his team in the Barclays Premier League. (tribalfootball.com)
If Sir Alex signs Dimitar Berbatov, then he could probably afford to let Frazier go, but should he? The 20-year-old has shown what he is capable of during his loan spell at City last season, and whilst he hasn’t set the world alight in a United shirt, he clearly has the potential to become a big success.
It may be the Huddersfield lad himself who will have to make a tough decision. He could continue to fight for his shot in the first team, but when the Bulgarian does arrive at Old Trafford, the Englishman’s chances will be few and far between. If he left for to join the Tigers, he would be a big fish in a small pond, but at least he would be in the Premier League and he is dearly loved by the KC faithful. Do United fans think that Sir Alex should consider letting their young hopeful leave?

rather let him go out on loan again for another season to see if he can progress even more by playing regular first team football and also gaining good premiership experience or sell him on with add ons or/and a good sell on clause possibly with first refusal on him returning ,winner all round

I would take 5m for him tbh. I have watched his progress over the years and i really do not think he will develope in to a top forward if I’m honest. 5m is a good offer, cash in and either try and sign david villa or put the funds to berbatov but then again i do not think berb is worth more than 22m either, hard choices.

Why sell him, the kid is hungry and fast as *hit, send him out on loan and let him get premiership experience, then bring him back.

He has to go to Hull to become a better player. Being a fan of both clubs, MUFC 1st City 2nd, it would take him longer to become established at Old Trafford than it wold at the KC Stadium then SAF than work a deal with PB to have first dibs when his contract expires after ‘X’ number of years when he is more experienced. At the moment for MUFC he is only likely to get into the Reserve Team than the 1st Team now Berbatov is on the way & 4th Striker, Come On!
He Would be Numer 1 if not Number 2 at the KC if he came to Hull as Windass is not going to get many 1st Team matches.
