It appears that Sir Alex is getting frustrated at the lack of movement regarding the on/off transfer saga to bring Dimitar Berbatov from Tottenham, so much so that he looks set to move for another, possibly better, target!

Manchester United have reportedly registered their interest in Klaas Jan-Huntelaar amid growing fears Dimitar Berbatov’s proposed move from Tottenham could collapse.
A report in El Mundo Deportivo claims the promising Holland international, 24, has been sounded out by Ferguson as an alternative option.
The striker even declared his love of Manchester United earlier in the summer when questioned about rival interest from Arsenal.
“It’s a club (Manchester United) that makes me dream, especially as Ruud van Nistelrooy played there and did great things with them,” he said. (Telegraph)
This Dutch striker is real quality, a goalscorer who is clearly keen on proving that his haul in the Eredivisie is not just a sign of the lower standard in that league. He looks more than likely to opt for a move if a real big fish came in for him. He is rapidly approaching what might be his peak and a move to United must surely interest him greatly, especially when you consider that since he has been at the Amsterdam club, they haven’t managed to unseat perennial champions PSV.
He could well be the next Ruud and I am certain that if the Premier League champions did sign him up, he would be a great success. Do United fans think that Huntelaar is a better target to chase than Berbatov?

berbatov is a balanced striker and make goals when it is needed but they should hurry up or it will be too late; but it will be still be good if they sign huntelaar or loan them to see how he adpts on the premier league….

ok then say the players u want instead of berbatov and huntelaar….. cuz there are a lot of strikers and those might adapt to ferguson style of play

Huntelaar wouldn’t adapt and is no Van Nistelrooy. We know about Eredivisie top goalscorers, like Senor Alves.
Berbatov is a good player but is too old and too expensive to be a great signing.

hunrelaar is a better option to loan to see what he can do… berbatov is the only choice know cuz ronaldo and wayne rooney are out and they need a person who can know how to make goals for know…but the bad thing is that we don’t choose who leaves and who goes to a new club…. we just discuss about it….

it would be a healthier thing for alex to sign both babertov and huntelaar if the dream of a treble repeat is to be realised coz the injury crisis will be occuring to any of the current united strikers

Why do you need this Huntelaar? If you want someone who likes to score goals in the Eredivisie I think I know someone you might be interested in. Plays off striker or out on the wing. He works very hard and would take no time to adjust to England since he is here already. You can have him for £20 million but might consider £18 million. What a bargain this is, yes? You call me.

Ian you’re talking rubbish falcao is completley unproven in the real world, sounds like you’ve been playing too many football management games, i don’t mind if man u sign either, i would rather have berba simply because hes a proven prem league goalscorer an hes gotta bit of magic, however i do think that loaning huntelaar with a view to purchasing him would be a better option if we don’t get dimi.

berbatov has his own class.he is one of my favourite players.
but he is too old 4 man utd.
huntelaar is perfect 4 man utd.he has attitiude,,,he loves this club,,he is young.
but it doesn’t matter who is coming 2 old trafford.
both will b suitable 4 our club.

ferguson please can u sign hunterlaar and we enjoy football as every man u fans hope. he is better than torres or equal to him. we missed in torres but hunterlaar is ready for us. please man u need him more than he need man u. get him so that the world should bow down to the greatest squad ever assembled by any coach. tevez rooney hunterlaar ronaldo nani anderson da silva brothers possebon . what a team. get him fast before real madrid gets mad and take jim to the shit spain.

ferguson much as your are sir it means alot to young vkids who follow man u to the bone like me. all i need is you to bring hunterllar to old trafford and we baptise all teams with goals like never before. hunterlaar is a man u character to the bone, a true number 9 as ruud van nistelrooy once said madrid will make him worse only united and hunterlaar can work better. please get hunterlaar rather than the proffessed berbatov. ramos is a spain man and want to do exactly what we did to madrid about ronaldo. next year get ronaldo out of man u.

Ian I agree but I think he ain’t proven even though he is God in human form. Hear Arsenal want him. But the Hunter is Ruud but with tricks and is more mobile. He also scores overhead/bicycle kicks!
