Berbatov already thinks he is a United player, he’s signing shirts!

The S*n today beings us a cheeky little story about Dimitar Berbatov, who seems to have switched allegiances faster than a Usain Bolt sprint. The mealy-mouthed Spurs moaner has been linked all summer long with a move to Man Utd, but negotiations have been long and tortuous with Tottenham apparently trying to squeeze a bigger bid out of the Lord of the Ferg. All this hasn’t stopped Berba from a display of fealty towards his Mancunian suitors.
The S*n reports that the Bulgarian signed a Man Utd shirt at Sofia Airport just before he jetted off to play for Bulgaria. A conveniently placed S*n onlooker said:
“I was gobsmacked when he took the shirt and signed it.
“He didn’t have any problems with it at all.
“If I was one of Berbatov’s team-mates or a fan, I’d be furious. It is incredibly disrespectful — he may as well have kissed the United badge.” (The S*n)
Even Spurs legend Jimmy Greaves added his tuppence worth, saying:
“Signing the United shirt is certainly cheeky.
“He clearly wants to leave. If he doesn’t want to stay they should get rid of him.” (The S*n)
So is this the height of cheekiness or just a lot of fuss about nothing special?

i think that spurs should let berbatov go to man utd because he dosent want to stay at white hart lane anymore i have read the papers and it is his dream to go to man utd. man utd have offered 20 million pounds for him which i a good offer to buy other players. so dont keep him waiting just let him go. liam man u fan

the spurs fans booeing him r such twats…. so what he signed a united shirt, people get all kinds of stuff signed when they meet a professional footballer, berbatov was just being a good role model and genuinely nice person to sign a fans shirt… so spurs boo him???? its not berbatovs fault tht ur stupid manager wont sell him even though he knows he doesnt wanna be there, wot is the point of keepin a player that wont be any good to you, the only thing spurs will get out of it is a lower place in the table coz they wont have a forward who scores them goals ,,,jus sulks

“wenger hater”, you obviously have all sorts of issues, having managed to go for the oh so convincing argument of swearing and then delve into the murky depths of racism, how proud your fellow fans must be to have such an intelligent man being their voice.
