The Dimitar Berbatov saga between Tottenham and Manchester United is the stuff of legends. To be honest, it probably could be turned into a fairly decent play. I’d probably title it: The Sulking Striker; or maybe Berbatov’s Blunder! Regardless, the whole situation looks to be coming to a close really soon — whether both want it to or not. He is a disgrace as a professional footballer and I personally don’t care where he goes as long as it’s far from White Hart Lane.

Excuse me, there are some idiots here writing. Those of you who want Berbatov to rot in reserves. May be it is your president Levy who should rot. Berbatov is everything that values in this team. Why should blame him for his wish to improve and leave the poor Spurs. If a player is not found to be suitable the manager just sells him and it is normal, if a player find the team not suitable hi just leaves. Why this should be a scandal? You better go and ask Berba for an autograph as he is still there, because you will not have such a great player in your team for the next 10 years.

they are a club full of nobody’s who will never achieve anything besides the ‘carling cup’ in the next 50 years.
They do London a disservice by building up their team’s chances of glory before ultimately failing, and then have the audacity to have a go at the best player to ever pull on a Tottenham shirt because he wants to move onto bigger and better club.
