Portsmouth boss tabs Chelsea and Manchester United to rule the roost once again: Arsenal and Liverpool have no shot!

After getting dropped to the mat in consecutive weeks by Chelsea and Manchester United, Pompey boss Harry Redknapp is certain once again that last year’s top two will remain the same. He is sure that Liverpool and Arsenal won’t be able to catch them this year. But that’s not all he talked about. He’s also certain that Tottenham will be short of a striker before the transfer deadline!

“From what I’ve seen so far this season, it will be the same two at the top of the league again,” he said. “Arsenal and Liverpool have the players to push United and Chelsea hard but those two are just too strong at the moment, they have too many options.

“I’m sure United will end up with Berbatov and that will make a big difference for them, it will give them another goal threat and another way of playing.” (Guardian)

Since when did Redknapp become the Nostradamus of the Premier League? While his comments are fairly boring — pegging Chelsea and Man United to battle for the title is the easy choice — the suggestion that he’s sure Berbatov will be moving to United is a tad bit interesting! Does he know something we don’t?

Do Arsenal and Liverpool supporters believe that they’re already fighting for third and fourth this season? What do Tottenham supporters think about his comments on Berbatov?
