Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger has his chief French scout, Gilles Grimandi, continually scouring the French League for more bargains, and he has set his sights on a young French U16 international ar Paris St. Germain.
Jimmy Kamghain played for PSG’s U16 side last season but it up to the U18’s for the coming one, and Arsenal’s Young Guns website reports that he is being tipped to arrive at the Emirates.
The write up on his talent sounds very promising: “Blessed with electric speed and lethal finishing, his performances have led to many suggesting he could be the next big prospect to come out of France.” they say, and says his excellent technique makes him perfect for Wengers tutelage.
He is said to be a great fan of Wenger and Arsenal so expect him to arrive in England very soon. (footylatest.com)
So Arsenal continue to put together a team of the future with frightening potential and, considering talents like Wilshere, Vela, Randall and Co, Wenger has been very wise in the manner with which he has built a squad of real talent without breaking the bank. Do Gunners fans wish that Arsene spent more on new talent rather than accumulating more players for the future or is he investing wisely?

Great, another Anelka, Henry, Viera,Petit ..all are welcome, but one day Arsene will have to stop being so obstinate and buy some quality defenders. If he does not and persists with Gallas…we can forget the top 6 this season.

Wenger is always signing youngsters “for the future”. The future is now, buy some quality now. Get rid of Robin van sicknote and buy a proper striker. We also need a proven keeper, centre back and defensive midfielder. To keep playing the for the future card is getting very boring and will not win trophies.

it’s pissed me off that we still havn’t signed another midfielder. a bid of 14 million would get alonso, so fucking do it!

No amount of f—king and blinding is going to affect Wenger. The future looks promising I`ll say that but I`m an old bloke stuck out in the Aussie bush and Arsenal mean a lot to my morale and sanity. Just give me something to lift my spirits Arsene.

Just so you lot know, wenger seems to be losing his undoubted ability to pick up the cream of young tallent, Man City have just signed the best new tallent in the premiership this season, and mark my words, wenger knew about him, had followed his progress, and decided on a 31 year old crock from the swamp, over Vincent Kompany, watch this space!

gooner c ..a bid of 14 million would not be unough for alonso. we would never sell him to a rival club .. or a club in the same league. unless you gave us 30 million. then maybe rafa would consider it. if liverpool really wanted to let alonso go he would be gone by now. go look elsewhere for your defensive midfielder.
and if wenger doesn’t stop buying up and coming talents he won’t be att arsenal for much longer. yes he is tactically very good and has an eye for young talent. but can never seem to grasp the fact that kids don’t win you titles.
