Will Tottenham striker be heading back to Germany instead of Man United?
by stresster on August 29th, 2008This source claim it’s a distinct possibility, but before any United fan starts to feel gutted that they may have missed out on the talented Bulgarian, the newspaper in question has been known to get it wrong on several occasions. In the space of a few hours.
Nevertheless, The Sun have invented a story report that Bayern Munich could be about to land Dimitar Berbatov, thus ending his White Hart Lane misery and providing a sting in the tail to a story which has rumbled on for some time.
BAYERN MUNICH are ready to end Dimitar Berbatov’s Tottenham misery.
Reports in Germany suggest the Bundesliga giants will pip Manchester United to the Bulgarian striker’s signature before the transfer window closes.
The striker knows the Bundesliga inside out, having spent several seasons at Bayer Leverkusen before joining Tottenham two years ago. Could it be that Berba has given up on ‘following his dream’ and playing for Manchester United, and will instead jump on the next flight to Munchen to play for the German champions. Spurs fans, surely you’d prefer to see the sullen one leave the country rather than play for the Red Devils?

I’ve said all along that I would prefer to see him go abroad, and even though I have been convinced all along that he would definitely not be going to Manure, I now believe that he will sign for them in the next few days, to be honest, I tthink letting Louis Saha join Everton speaks volumes…
Why would they let striker cover leave, if they werent confident of getting their man!

Sell him to Bayern but for £20 mill to ensure he goes ! Personally i do not believe it but Bayern do 1) have the money 2) need a striker 3) need a sulk ( le sulk) so please sell him if possible to Bayern and let us all get on.

I’m off to Munich, oh please no, i’m not playing there! i am too good! i will cry if you send me there! i will stand on the pitch and wave my arms about and blame all the other players if you do and i will score 30 or 40 goals so you cant hate me entirely. i will wear your shirt but only to protect me from the elements! where is my agent, i have had said far more in the one paragraph than 2 years at totteningams hootspov, i think that is what they are called

My instincts tell me he’s going to manure; but wouldn’t it be nice if he was deported to Bayern Munich, even for less dosh.

Berba is a great player. He just wants to play for ‘reds’. What’s wrong with that?
Didn’t he give everything for Totenham? Love and Hate awlays go together!
