Tottenham supporters woke this morning to find ex-Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov donning a Man United kit for all to see. For some the move was long overdue; for others, the shot of Berba playing for United has to be bittersweet. Regardless, the whole saga is officially over. It’s time to move on. I agree with the Manc (el rojo), you have to be greatful to Berbs for the service he gave in the past couple of years. I for one enjoyed watching him in the lilly white of Spurs. However, the nature of his departure and the way he dealt with the move is all wrong. Look at Corluka, played his best for Man City before his move unlike Berbs who “wasn’t in the right frame of mind” or as other may call it sulking about not getting his own way.
Anyway i think the FA should investigate the circumstances of this transfer even if Spurs don’t put in an official complaint. The underhand tactics and rule breaking of ManU was there for all to see yesterday and something should really be done to stop this happening to other clubs, not just Spurs.

Keane was two-bob, liverpool are beginning to see the evidence, great business for Spurs; Berbs is brilliant, and rightly wanted to play in the Champions League - until we get there, we wont be able to keep world class players; thats the bottom line, and reality. At the end of the day I think Berbatov has been the most honest as it was clear he wanted away to a bigger club. Keane, who has to an extent escaped the scrutiny that the Berbatov transfer has received, said shortly before he was transferred that he was happy at Spurs and liked his life. To my mind he is the bigger hypocrit.. The fact that Liverpool agreed to make a donation to the Spurs fund to drop charges is not dissimilar to the Berbatov transfer. Is that what the odd bit over 30 million was`for? No one comes out of this with honour. Both Man Utd and Liverpool acted in unethical ways and worst is the FA..- I suppose the motto for them is “We do F@##!! All !!!! “
