Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester United supporters: Rank the top four clubs right now in the Premier League
by offsidetrap on September 4th, 2008With Manchester City’s now sugar daddy currently at the helm, the Eastland’s club looks to be a serious player to finish in the top four at the end of the season. But as the Galácticos of Real Madrid found out, sometimes loading a team with star players doesn’t always equate to more trophies at the club.
Regardless, many managers around the league (most recently Rafa Benitez) have made it clear that Man City are on the verge of threatening the stronghold that Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have had on the league for some time. Whilst star players will almost assuredly come to Man City in the future, it still remains to be seen if they can gel enough to usurp the current regime.
We want to know how you think the Premier League will finish up place-wise at the end of the season. Do you think Man City can finish in third or fourth? Will Liverpool and Arsenal have enough in the tank for an entire season? We know it’s early, but based on who’s currently playing at each club, use the list below to tell us how you think the top four will finish at the end of the year.

Chelsea will win Champions League
Man Utd won’t win the Premier League or the Champions League again under Ferguson and Berbatov will sulk again from next summer.
Aston Villa will win the league from next season until another side decides to play the game properly, within viable financial limits and with pacey British players.
Abramovich and the Arabs will get bored of failure and sell Chelsea and Man City, forcing them both into administration.
The United States will continue to interfere with other countries causing vast expense for their armed forces, creating financial meltdown in the States, forcing the Glaziers to sell UNited and the Two Ronnies to sell Liverpool, forcing both clubs into financial difficulties and eventual liquidation.
From 2011 Spurs, Everton, Aston Villa and Arsenal will be the big four but without such dominance and we’ll be rid of Rich Mens Toy Teams, and northern bully boys, Yanks and Russians.

Table in 5 Years time haha
1.Man City (Abu Dhabai United Group’s dominance is kicking in).
2.Liverpool(DIC have got there hands on Liverpool and the yanks have been forced to sell due to credit crunch and lack of money).
3.Chelsea(Abramovichs wealth is dwarfed by both Abu Dhabai United Group and DIC).
4.Arsenal(Arsenals Staduim is finally finished and they can spend some money on players).
5.QPR(Multi Billionaire owners succeed in getting QPR to 5th spot and will be hoping to go higher next year)
6.Villa(Free of debt and with Randy Lerners millions Villa have been hogging a 5th/6th place postion for a number of years.
7.Man Utd(overwhelmed with debt that even trophy winning didn’t pay for interest levels Man Utd have sunk into a regular 7th spot finish.

Manchester will dominate the world
start a new league i say .
Rule 1.
each team must have 4 english players on the pitch at all times
Rule 2.
No owners may be worth more than 2 billion
Rule 3.
top 6 champions league(including Rule 5.) and 7-10th = eufa cup spots
Rule 4.
Bottom 4 get relegated
Rule 5.
Carling cup winners vs Fa Cup winners = play for a champs league spot.
Rule 6.
league increased to 24 and Rangers and celtic join PL
Last Rule . arsenal start on -15 points each season lol

Hard to tell really but my 2 cents
Manchester United:
Chelsea:
Arsenal{
Liverpool:
Those have *always been the main winners *every season in no particular order..now we have the Arab on our pitch. He has declared that Sparky *must be in the top four this season (no pressure there then) and winning the trophy next season and at the very top in Europe the following year.
With cash to spend for example, Ronaldo on a transfer fee of £134m. I don’t see there will be a problem for Man City on top position this season after the January window closes and the Arrab has the targets he has set his sights on.
Yesterday Sparky was trying to cool speculation that loads of money may not buy the players the Arab wants if the managers won’t let go of them like Fergie this year.

A real close battle to the title this season involving my top 3 then a small gap to the rest. Next season Liverpool to take it at last.

Gillett and Hicks go up the spiral staircase. They reach the top and walk out on the wooden floor of a large brick-walled room. Like a hideous pastiche of Little and Large they attempt some ice-breaking quips. Their audience look unimpressed. Hicks pulls a black cloth from an easel revealing pictures of a football team in red and an artist’s impression of a grand stadium. “Hello Dragons”, says Gillett….
