At LAST he’s going! Tottenham deal almost done!
by Mr Comfort on September 7th, 2008Hideously funny and strangely very apt little offering from the great Harry Hotspur on a soon to be sealed loan deal that will hopefully lead to a permanent move…anywhere!
Don’t forget to check out Online Football Manager!
There comes a time when one has to open the fridge door and admit that the feta, has seen better - and it’s time to chuck. The fact you dropped a fiver on these little albino cubes didn’t aid their longevity and if you partake you’ll probably puke.
And so in plainer English, Kevin Prince Boateng is to be loaned out to Birmingham City. The transaction is thought to be concluded within the next few days or so. My understanding is that this deal or one like it would’ve been wrapped up sooner, but the player has been ‘a bit injured’.
He looked like Jack The Biscuit. Tatooed and toned. Sleeves rolled to expose hours in the gym. Unfortunatley his frenzied stints in the shirt generated mostly backward and sideways passes. And like my local chip shop, he simply didn’t deliver.
We expected more. A polished Taarabt. Street tuff and target happy. What we got was a damp squib. Most damning of all was the arrival of Ramos. KP was said, though I forget by who, to have been an erstwhile target of the Sevilla coach. He gave him a few goes and then clearly gave up. (HarryHotspur)
Oscar Wilde couldn’t have put it better. So will the Prince be missed? Well clearly not, will he manage to look the part in the Championship, well he is quite likely to get kicked repeatedly and his glorious ineffectiveness may not be deemed quite to pretty and stylish when Birmingham make a January trip to Blackpool! It kind of makes you wonder why he was ever bought in the first place! So Spurs fans is Boateng good enough to make it in the top tier? Or is a spell in the Championship a sign of things to come?

THE DAYS OF BRINGING ON THE YOUNGSTERS FROM THE ACADEMY AND THE RESERVES AND THE SECONDS AND THE UNDER 18 `S ETC ETC IS NEARLY GONE , THERE WILL BE NO KIDS BEING COACHED BECAUSE CLUBS NOW DEMAND INSTANT SUCCESS AND AS SOMEBODY ALREADY SAID YOU CAN`T WIN ANYTHING WITH KIDS , AND THE INFLUX OF FOREINERS ARE TAKING THE JOBS JUST LIKE WORKING CLASS PEOPLE CAN`T FIND JOBS BECAUSE OF THE FOREINERS .

JD you are an idiot, go back to the 70’s where you would have probably felt more comfortable on the terraces shouting racist remarks to black players like Clive Best.
I think you’ll find that many people who originally come to this country, do work that many people here are not prepared to do !!! I will not bother to list these jobs.
So please just stay in your little ignorant box at home, close you eyes, block your ears and try and imagine a time when there were no such thing as foriengers
Oh wait a minute…..there has never really been a time like that, has there ??? The United Kingdom for hundreds of years has had so called ‘foreigners’ come to our land, whether it was for work or invasion !!! In fact what is a foreigner, are you only a foreigner when you’ve been in the country for a few weeks, or is it a few months or is it a few years ?!?!!? mmm it’s so confusing isn’t it ??!?!? And so pathetic to go on and on about like you do !
Yes I agree a lot of youngsters are not getting the chance to play and we should be positive in our support in trying to promote this, but don’t be a twit and simplify it blaming it on foreigners, infact you probably have scandinavian or european blood in your system yourself you bloody foriegner…..lol !
Time to move on from this shit arguement which you failedl to bring to the table, football is a global game and whether you like it or not fans love to watch the best footballers in the world play in the premiership. That’s what makes it so good !
Au revoir, aufedersein, siyanara JD !!!

never given a chance, how can someone who is new to the league play a few 20 cameos and be expected to produce their true form. there is no point buying young players from abroad not giving them a chance to settle then disgarding them. bergkamp was one of many class players that took a full season of playing week in week out to produce anything near his best form. not saying he is in that class but it is an example that players need time to be able to produce their form when coming to the prem.

Dear Mr Comfort,
Yet again you have simultaneously publically flouted the laws of Copyright and common sense by half inching one of my two bob articles!
My attorneys at law, Vader & Sons, won’t be in touch.
Thanks for your kind words, mate.
Cheers,
H.
