Reports are circulating that Juande Ramos is closing in on a move for one of his former Sevilla players who has apparently issued a come-and-get-me plea. Oh, and his current boss rates him the best winger in the world!

Sevilla manager Manolo Jimenez has paid the ultimate tribute to the young Diego Capel by labelling him the best winger in the world. The 20-year-old is an emerging star in La Liga, and his boss even believes he is the best player around in his position.
But Jimenez thinks it is too early to offer the highly-rated Capel a new improved deal, despite the fact that Tottenham and Barcelona are believed to be monitoring his situation. “He is the best winger in the world,” Jimenez told Estadio Deportivo. “I speak with Diego about football, not about an extension.
“I spoke with him when he didn’t have a representative because he didn’t want to have one. I want the best for him and he is his own man. If he asked me for advice I would give him some. My opinion is that he should stay with us for life, but I understand (his wishes).” (Setanta)
Spurs made some very intelligent signings in the last transfer window and if they managed to snare this Spanish starlet, then it would be yet more evidence that Ramos is rapidly improving the squad into one that could well challenge for a top four spot.
If Capel has indeed made it clear he wants to join the north London club, then apparently a bid in the region of £18m would entice the La Liga club to sell. Do Spurs fans think that the winger will make the move to White Hart Lane?
